Password Importance:

Anyone with a computer or an internet account is vulnerable to hacking, viruses and identity theft. Therefore, computers and accounts must be protected by a strong password.

Qualities of a strong password:

  • Easy to remember.
  • You don’t need to note it down.
  • Easy to type.
  • A mix of letters, numbers and symbols.

Creating a strong password:

  • Use at least 8 characters.
  • Mix at least 3 of the followings:
    • Capital letters (ABC).
    • Small letters (abc).
    • Numbers (0-9).
    • Special characters (&#%?"!*….)
  • Deliberately misspell dictionary words.

How to Use Password Phrases:

  • Don’t Make Your Password Too Obvious.
  • Don’t Make Your Password Too Short.
  • Don’t Use Common Dictionary Words.
  • Don’t Use the Same Password Over and Over Again.
  • Using Misspelled Words.
  • Numeric Substitutions.
  • Different accounts different passwords.
